Weekly Photo Challenge: Intricate

Irish Lace

Machine made? Hand crafted? Not sure, but the design caught my attention. Is the art of handmade lace still alive? I don’t know the answer; I could not imagine having the deftness, the litheness, the sleight in my hands at my age. But whenever I see handmade laces in museums, I find myself, eyes as close to the glass as one could be, in awe and amazed.

Daily Gratitude: seeing the crabapple, red bud, Korean Spice viburnum, and daphne blooming simultaneously; talking with my parents at breakfast; giving gifts

Quote of the Day: i am a work in progress dressed in the fabric of a world unfolding offering me intricate patterns of questions rhythms that never come clean. ~unknown
