Certainly a Day for a Daydream

78°, blue skies, low humidity, and a nice breeze–it was a lovely, lovely day and I spent most of the day outdoors knowing that those 90 temperatures will be returning on Thursday. But I vowed not to let that bother me either. Any day one can spend outdoors is a good day, isn’t it? (corner garden–not a great photo as it was taken at midday, but I wanted you to get a sense of my garden)

Daily Gratitude: good Zumba workout; great, authentic Mexican dinner; a new pocketable camera to replace the one I dumped in the river while kayaking last Sunday; seeing 3 albino peacocks in the woods

Quote of the Day for YOU: If you don’t think every day is a good day, just try missing one.  ~Cavett Robert

  1. Your garden looks lovely. The heat is on here. Feels like a blast furnace out there. But like you, I am grateful for the lovely few days we had before the heat returned. 🙂

  2. Your garden looks lovely with a good mix of sun and shade. The weather you describe sounds like the same as ours last Sunday. The grey and damp with high humidity has made a return however.

    • Quietsolo–took me an entire week to read all the reviews on pocketable camers as I don’t like carrying the DSLR all the time. I finally decided on the Canon S100 which got rave reviews. Now I have to read the 267 page manual online 😦

    • The peacocks probably belong to someone but they were wandering in the woods alongside the road. I couldn’t help but notice that stark, white moving objects with those feathers atop their heads. I have a good DSLR but I use a pocketable camera for everyday use–don’t leave home without it!!
