It’s a Good Friday, For Sure

It’s sunny, I have the day off from school, and I’m packing for Santa Fe. Why wouldn’t it be a good day?

Daily Gratitude: giving Lindsay her prize

Quote of the Day for YOU: Pleasure is spread through the earth
In stray gifts to be claimed by whoever shall find.
~William Wordsworth, 1806

  1. What a beautiful image; the colour is so beautiful. I also enjoyed the quote from Wordsworth – it’s one I hadn’t come across before. Enjoy your stay in Santa Fe!

  2. Beautiful photo! And….Best wishes for a special trip…we went to Santa Fe last summer. It’s a wonderful place. The light is amazing, so photo taking might be remarkable.
And a “good Friday”….it was a wonderful day for us 25 years ago…my daughter was born at 8 pm on good Friday night… : ) …she didn’t find out until she was around 10 years old that it wasn’t called good Friday just for her being born that day.
Isn’t that a special poem quote..William Wordsworth also wrote the daffodil poem: “and then my heart with rapture fills, and dances with the daffodils”… I hope you find many stray gifts as you visit Santa Fe….

    • Martina–check my blog–I’m going to try to fit it in in the wee hours! After the Southwest food, after the Santa Fe brewery, after some Native American enlightenment . . . Have a great holiday. Terry
