Looking Through Your Windows: A Year’s Past Postaday2011

For the past year, you have been kind, and more than generous, to allow me to look through your windows to take a peek into your lives, your family, your friends, and your thoughts. Occasionally I have responded to your writing or commented on your artwork and other times I just look and walk by–for no other reason but for lack of time.

Through your blogs, I’ve traveled to and learned the culture of India, Great Britain, Louisiana and Massachusetts; I’ve been across the pond more times than I can count (though still not satiated); I’ve learned to enjoy and spend my time wisely during my journey here on earth; I’ve also been tempted to try some of your recipes (that’s if I were even remotely interested in cooking); I’ve taken daily, relaxing walks on your properties; I laughed and cried at your posts; I’ve felt dwarfed by some fantastic writing; I’ve been introduced to some helpful photography tips; I’ve been spellbound over your artwork; I’ve been touched beyond words over your love of family, friends, humankind.

Because you let me look through your windows into your lives, I’ve become a much better person–I now understand my purpose. I couldn’t begin to express the warmth and affection I feel for all of you right now. As this year comes to a close, I wanted all of you to know this, to know that if you see a flash go by your window–it will be me. For now, I bow down to all of you, grateful for your camaraderie, comforted by your friendships.

They make me want to do more and see more, they make me think and feel things that I dont often think about, they take me places that I will neer have an opportunity to go. Thank you so much for shareing and being so faithful to your blog and to your followers.
