Away in the Inlet–100 Word Challenge for Grown-Ups

Today I am joining the world of the grown-ups by participating in the 100-Word Challenge for Week 23 at Julia’s Place. Go over to “sing” some of the challenges–you’ll be quite entertained!

Sing to the tune of Away in a Manger

Away in the inlet, no fish for his hook

My Dapper G husband, no bass will he cook

“The fish in the sea have swum far away,

So Dapper G husband come back if you may!”

The garbage is calling, the car’s not aligned

But Dapper G husband, I nowhere can find

I love thee, dear husband, “Fish are not my life!”

How could you forget me—after all  I’m your wife!
