Where thou art – that – is Home. ~Emily Dickinson

Mallard

What does home mean to me?

Before I was married to Dapper G, home was wherever my parents were, wherever our family gathered, my brother and sister, my aunts and uncles–all my cousins. And to some extent, I still feel that way–dwelling in the shelter of tender memories and deep-rooted affection.

But now it’s wherever Dapper G is; it’s where I feel most at peace, most loved, most appreciated.

  1. Nice to have home be something we have inside ourselves and shared with others rather than a physical spot on the earth.

Your photo would make a delightfully maddening puzzle.
