Painting the Meadows with Color

The meadows are now turning gold-orange. At any time of the year, they are beautiful–a large shag carpet. On one of my biking jaunts, I took the top most photo  and then painted the image on canvas with acrylics below.

I believe everyone has creative genes–one just needs to tap into them. My father is actually one of those creative people, natural talent, untrained in painting, tooling leather, carpentry, cake decorating/baking, kite making. You just need to be inspired–and, for me, inspiration abounds. How about you?

(Back-to-School Night last night. Very tired. Hope to catch up on blogging/commenting this weekend. Ciao Bella!)
