Fall Is Not Easy

Autumn is almost upon us.

It’s 7:45 p.m. and it’s already dark–thats the only drag. Autumn is actually quite colorful, seeing all the mums, asters, and pumpkins in gardens–but it’s that whole dying thing that’s  a real bummer. I’ll try to be a bit more positive. Perhaps I’ll practice Daily Gratitudes like Seasweetie, who has inspired me to do the same. After all, there must be some redeeming factors from an absolutely normal day. Isn’t there?

  1. I love the new template complimenting those pumpkins… You had a perfectly normal day? What a blessing… 🙂 I love the pictures Terry and since Fall hasn’t quite arrived in these parts, I might have to go looking for same in the nurseries around me… 🙂

  2. Fall is my favourite season. The colours, the cooler weather, the harvest of summer bounty, it’s spectacular. We also love to go apple picking.

    • Apple picking? What fun! The best apples I ever had came from the North up in the mountains. The people there called them High Altitude Apples–don’t know what the real name was, but they were pinkish inside.

  3. Very nice Autumnal images – I especially like the Pumpkin image; beautiful. The thought of long cold dark evenings is a bit of a downer, but there’s always: open fires; chopping and stacking wood; hot chestnuts roasting; hot toddies; warm snuggly scarves …… 🙂

  4. Autumn is beautiful. It is nature reminding us that the world is a wonderful place. It is like a big meal before we have to rest (winter) but we know that we will wake up then she will give us more of her glory! These photos are brilliant!

  5. Teresita, your pictures have wonderful composition and colors. Change of season always give hope to look forward to it as it comes round full circle, something to look forward to.
