In the End, There Are No Losers

Phlox let loose in nature!

There was such a wonderful response to my title request for my sketch. Thanks to everyone who peeked in, liked, or commented. Below are some of the suggestions. When you think about the state our country is in right now, all the issues, the in-fighting in Washington, the greed etcetera, etcetera . . . all titles  apply. Look carefully and think deeply.

  • American Soul/Sole (4X)
  • A Well-Lived Life
  • Down But Not Out
  • I Am Still Whole
  • I’m a Soul Man
  • Jus’ Restin’ For Now
  • Our United States of Disrepair
  • Seen Better Times
  • Soul Holes
  • Souled Out!
  • Soulful Rest
  • These Were Made for Walkin’
  • Time to Rest
  • Walk a Mile in My Shoes
  • We Tread On We
  • Well-worn, Tried and True
  • Worn Out, Weak, and Too Tired To Get Back On My Feet–Again!
Still sitting at the airport but optimistic that we’ll reach our destination. I will not fret–if we don’t reach St. Martin (or can’t), then we shall book for somewhere else! Until then, I shall take a relaxing walk with Robin reading about Life in the Bogs, people watch, and read some blogs! Pasa buen dia!                                                                                         ©Teresita Abad Doebley All rights reserved 2009-2011.
ps. Phlox–phlox have a nice habit of sending out volunteers. Given the right conditions, they will flourish and multiply as they have in the photo above. (D&R Canal, Lambertville, NJ)
