30th Street Station

I should have spent more time shooting the great architecture there, but it was hot and I was tired after walking around the  the U of PA Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology in many non-air-conditioned rooms.

  1. I was combing through all my email subscriptions and saw the title for this one, and it drew me in since I’m very familiar with the 30th Street Station. You captured some of the essence of it very well. 🙂

  2. 30th Street Penn Station in Philly is magnificent… 🙂
I’m glad you captured part of that gorgeous train station’s old world charm; something our NY Penn Station lost when greed, masquerading as improvements, got in the way…. 😦

  3. I love 30th Street Station, it’s one of those old buildings that jjust attract the eye and the mind, just sitting on one of those benches if you take a few minutes to think about the history not only the building but the architcture………and all the people that have passed through here, all with a life story. Great photo Ter, you did good……again.
