Weekly Photo Challenge: Worn II

These are stands that hold large sailboats during the winter. It’s interesting to see them prop large sailboats atop these 5-foot stands–one would think they wouldn’t hold something so huge–but they do!

Well, Happy Summer to all!  I know the country has been experiencing late summer-like temperatures already, so it will be interesting to see what summer brings.

It’ll only be 93 in Pensacola today, so I’ll get some exercise in–try to get to the beach or take some pics. After the long winter and piles of snow which the seashore does not often experience, I will be spending lots of time outdoors. I try to spend most of the day outside doing something:

  • bike ride
  • walk
  • garden
  • forest bathe
  • beach it
  • kayak

I’m going to try plein air painting this year and hiking more–especially the Appalacian trail over near Gettysburg. What do you enjoy doing outside? What new activities or hobbies will you experience this summer?

Get outdoors!

Quote of the Day for YOU: You’ve got a lot of choices.  If getting out of bed in the morning is a chore and you’re not smiling on a regular basis, try another choice.  ~Steven D. Woodhull
