Buds and Blossoms

OK. This is what one does when they are too sick to leave the house! This morning I walked around with my trusty point-and-shoot Canon SD 880 IS because my battery wasn’t charged on my Panasonic. The Canon has a pretty decent macro setting. Anyway, I humored myself for at least forty-five minutes while passersby took second-looks at me in my PJs.

Hmm, what to do with the eight hours of daylight remaining? Geesh.

  1. I like this. It’s a great idea! I was looking at some weeds in the garden, trying to determine what type of flower they might turn into (we have a variety of pretty weeds in our garden which makes it hard for me to weed as I should). I should do something like this just for my own records so I’ll know what’s what out there.

Beautiful buds and blossoms in each of your photos. I hope they not only cheered you up but contributed to your wellness. 🙂

    • Robin–such a GOOD idea. I’ve been meaning to catalog my garden for years and making up a schedule for fertilizing, pruning etc. I really need to do that before I forget!haha Gardening is healing, isn’t it?

  2. You have such a knack for photos, no matter what camera you use. Very colorful, and thanks for sharing what’s blooming now in the season. Especially because you gave the names of each, often times, people do not know the names of flowers, bushes and trees that surround them. So, thank you!

  3. Beautiful flowers! When I have nothing else to do, I go outside and take pictures of the flowers in our garden.

    RE: Thank you! 🙂
