Morning Shadows on a Stockade Fence

Of all the beautiful, antique fences in this small, Delaware city, somehow this old, wooden one caught my eye. The early morning light cast a beautiful shadow. I have always been pretty observant of my surroundings but since I have become interested in photography, I now see beauty in the most ordinary objects. Do you?

  1. Lovely, especially the texture and light (and shadow).

It’s wonderful how photography makes us more aware of our surroundings, and how even the simplest things can be beautiful.

  2. I find myself taking pictures of what appear to most people to be the most mundane things, but you’re right, sometimes they can bet the best pictures.
