What Can I Do With More Evening Light?

As the cycle goes, the clock springs ahead one hour. And as I lay here cozy in my bed, I ponder: What will I do with the added evening light? In what delights shall I partake? Oh, I am giddy just thinking about it. Giddy, I say!

Let’s see: perpetually on my queue are things I can do to better myself. On the top of the list are things I have to do: lower my cholesterol (aaagain), exercise (boot camp and Zumba), be mindful of food intake (now I write everything down)–check, check, and check. And while I have a host of activities I do do to better my mind, I know that my physical self needs a bit more dedication.

  • 7 hours of sleep
  • 3 hours for meals
  • 1 hour intense boot camp or
    Zumba
  • 1 hour reading
  • 7 hours for work
  • 2 hours on WordPress (that’s a guesstimate and a lie)
  • 1 hour photo shoot for my photoblog on WordPress
  • 2 hours watching TV or movies (while on WordPress)

Now here’s the dilemma. I am spending way too much time on WordPress–guess that should come under the category of reading, eh? Or creating.

Boink!  The garden, my singular passion (thus the name The Petal Pusher), requires mass quantities of attention in the spring–I need at least two hours there every day during the week. Hey, that puts me in the red for hours spent per day. Now what?
