The Semblance of Calm

There is something very alluring in all of these photos. I think it’s the dark shadows juxtaposed with the light–quite calming, isn’t it? For two days now, our town has been enshrouded in clouds and fog . . . and . . . I . . . need   . . . sunshine. Yep, I’m one of those beggars for the big yellow thing in the sky. Without it, I’m lethargic, deprived of energy, literally tapped-out!

So I need to look at just the mere suggestion of sun to lift my mood, like the shadows and light in the pictures of above. I need to see a slice of azure even if it’s in a movie. Or on television. Or in a photo. And I need it now.

Quote of the Day For YOU: Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.  ~Maori Proverb
